KEHP Bio-metric Screening Program

The Estill County Health Department conducts biometric screenings for those who participate in the Kentucky Employee Health Plan (KEHP). These screenings are used to make participants aware of their health status. Participants may be referred to physicians or appropriate lifestyle change programs (ex: Diabetes Self-Management or Diabetes Prevention Program). Members of the KEHP must complete the screening by July 1 each year.

Biometric Screenings include:

• Height
• Weight
• Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Waist Circumference
• Total Cholesterol, HDL/LDL Cholesterol
• Blood Glucose
